Has a clear bright and shiny gold rim on both cup and saucer. The Zebras design is very bright, crisp and clear. Has the gold Lenox Made in USA mark on the bottom of each piece. The white you see in the middle of the cup is light reflection not scratches. These wonderful pieces will be a great addition to your current Scalamandre Zebras set or given as a gift.
